Stress Relief Gifts for Women
1. Ancient Minerals Magnesium Bath Flakes
Magnesium flakes are an upgraded version of epson salts. The flakes dissolve in seconds in warm water and help improve blood levels of magnesium which can help muscles relax and promote feelings of relaxation. Learn more about how magnesium can help with anxiety.
2. Recycled Paper Journal
There is science that shows that keeping a journal is helpful for managing stress and improving happiness. It’s such a simple practice, even taking a few minutes to write down 5 things you’re grateful for can make a big difference in your overall mental state.
3. Turmeric Ginger Herbal Tea
Well, there’s not much more comforting than sitting down with a hot cup of tea. This herbal tea blend has the benefit of being anti-inflammatory, too. The Rishi Tea brand gets bonus points because it’s organic and fair-trade.
4. Ultrasonic Real Bamboo Diffuser
This bamboo diffuser is not just pretty, and it has some great features like a timer and colored optional lights. For true relaxation, try scents like lavender or cinnamon. For stress-related or tension headaches, try diffusing peppermint oil.
5. Hot Pain Relief Wrap
Stress can cause tight muscles, especially in the shoulder and neck region. This microwavable clay hot pack can be used again and again to provide warming comfort to tense muscles.
6. Shiatsu Pillow Massager with Heat
This portable massing pillow has shiatsu balls that rotate with or without heat. It’s cheaper and more convenient than going for a real massage, but it does the trick for stressed neck and back muscles.
The massager is on a 20-minute cycle, too, so it’s a good excuse to try meditating or just sitting quietly during that time.
7. Apple Noise Cancelling Headphones
If you have sensitivity to noise especially when you’re trying to concentrate, then these noise-cancelling headphones can really help! These headphones are also great for listening to any of the podcasts on my list of the best health podcasts for women.
8. Mary Ruth’s Valerian Root Liquid Extract
You most definitely need to do your own research and/or ideally talk with your healthcare professional before taking a new supplement, but I have personally found valerian root to be very effective when I can’t sleep.
In fact, if I know I’m going to have a restless night because I’m worried about something happening the next day, I’ll take two of these capsules an hour before bedtime, and I end up sleeping very well.
9. Flameless Candles with Remote
Candles and firelight is part of our evolutionary biology. Now that the days are shorter, it’s natural and calming to have dimmer lighting in the evening. I highly recommend eating dinner by flameless candlelight or having them around the house for winter evenings. The flickering looks real and is so warm and cozy.
Happy shopping! I hope you found some unique items on this list, and of course I hope they help with your relaxation and stress relief.

Oh these are great stress relievers! They would make good gifts, but maybe gifts for me haha 😉
Thanks so much for sharing your tips with us Carrie.
You’re welcome, Kimmy!!! Happy holidays. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
I have been using my Body Back Buddy (like the Theracane) for trigger point therapy on my upper back, which has been bothering me all weekend. It’s a tricky spot to hit and maybe that clay Thermipaq may help. My cane gets between the shoulder blades, which this wouldn’t quite reach, but it may help the upper back on the sides, near my shoulders. Pesky pain.
Ohhhh, back pain is the worst! Hoping you find some relief, Deb. XOXO.
Great ideas Carrie! I really want that diffuser and the shiatsu pillow massager!
Thanks, Lisa! I am so in love with the shiatsu massager, I should probably just permanently attach it to my neck, ha ha. Happy holidays! 🙂
Thank you for your great gift ideas. I loved the massager so much I bought 2! One for my husband who is always in his car for work and another one for my dad. 🙂
You’re so welcome, Christine! Thank you for using my affiliate link! The massagers are sooooooo awesome, you might end up needing one for yourself, too. Happy holidays! XOXOXOXOXO.
