Scale
- 2 cups of baby spinach packed
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1 green apple, cored
- 1 lemon, peeled
Instructions
- Wash all the produce thoroughly, removing any soil from the celery.
- Core the green apple and peel the lemon.
- Cut the celery stalks, cucumber, apple, and lemon into chunks that will fit through the feeding tube of your juicer or smaller pieces if you’re using a juicer.
- If you use a juicer, run the spinach, celery, and fruit pieces through the juicer. Collect the juice in a pitcher.
- If you use a blender or food processor, add the baby spinach, celery, cucumber, apple, and lemon to the base. Blend or process on the highest setting until the mixture is smooth or for 20 – 30 seconds. Add a little water if the juice is too thick.
- Pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag or a fine cheesecloth. Squeeze it from the top down over a pitcher so the juice drains into it. You can discard the collected pulp or save it and use it for another purpose.
- Serve your Spinach Juice immediately.
Notes
- You can double or triple this recipe if you want more than a single serving of Spinach Juice.
- You can store this Spinach Juice in the fridge for up to three days, but it’s best to enjoy it immediately.
- The cucumber should provide enough liquid for this juice, but if it’s too thick, feel free to add a little water if you’re using a blender or food processor. It won’t be necessary if you’re using a juicer.
